Chris Galya Talks About Getting The Part On Jessie! (@ChrisGalya)

Now that Chris Galya got the role of Tony in the Disney Channel show Jessie, the rest is history; but what was it like before he actually got the part?? Chris Galya spoke with Popstar! Magazine on what it was like getting the part in their March issue.

He said, “I almost didn’t go to the audition. I didn’t know what show it was for or the network or anything about it, really. So I went to it and then I got a call back and another call back and they kept narrowing it down. It came down to me and another person, then they brought Debby in to read. It was an exciting month, month and a half of waiting and getting called back. It was exciting but nerve-wracking.”

Comment below and tell us, have you ever tried out for a role (even in a school play) and have had to go through multiple call backs before you got the role like Chris Galya? We want to know!

Debby Ryan Has A New Interview With J-14 (@thedebbyryan)

Debby Ryan exclusively talks with J-14 about her character in Radio Rebel, and what the movie is about:

Tell us about your character.

Debby Ryan: My character Tara is painfully shy, she’s afraid to talk to anyone, afraid to talk to her crush, and afraid to step out of her comfort zone. She’s very shy, but she’s also kind of hip. She has a voice and she knows what she stand for. She loves music, discovering new music, and loves bringing it to people.

What happens in the movie?
Debby:
As she’s radio DJing, she has this private little podcast, and then it grows and helps gets her a job at a radio station. The show becomes huge and she ends up leading this entire revolt against this injustice in their system, really helping people stand for themselves, for what they believe in, and their individuality. I feel like there’s something inspirational about it.

You’re like Gossip Girl!
Debby:
Totally! There’s that element of mystery. People know a little bit, but watching it and being like, “Is this person going to find out? How are they going to find out?” You’re really rooting for Tara. Radio Rebel is one of those people who I wish I was as cool as.

Debby dishes on a rumor about her dating a member of One Direction as well.

So you’re not dating him?
Debby:
I definitely know about them and I’ve heard about them a bit. Someone came up to me and was like, “I was reading this magazine and apparently this one member of One Direction really likes Disney, really likes you, and follows you on Twitter,’ or something like that, so it’s kind of like six degrees of separation.
